Why did FundraisingFish.com come into existence? The founders of FundraisingFish.com have managed fundraising programs for over 20 years… for schools, charities, and other Causes. Traditional fundraising programs are great, but they often require a significant number of volunteers, coordination, time, or have safety issues (such as door to door sales). In addition government funding continues to be insufficient for many organizations to make ends meet. The final motivating factor in the creation of FundraisingFish.com was the bankruptcy of a key fundraising program that we were using in our local schools. When this bankruptcy occurred, our supporters and programs lost thousands of dollars waiting for products that never arrived. In response to this, we developed a fundraising program that addressed our concerns regarding safety, program effort, and effectiveness. We feel that any program we create must be safe enough for our family and friends. As it turns out, what’s proven to be very good for us, is also very good for anyone who needs to raise funds, and so FundraisingFish.com was born.
