FundraisingFish.com Membership Agreement

FundraisingFish.com provides a service to its individual Members and does not represent advertisers, sponsors, or Causes. An individual who signs up with FundraisingFish.com becomes a Member and enters willingly into this agreement. Members understand that the existence of a particular Cause at www.FundraisingFish.com does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of FundraisingFish.com services.

Members may list Causes for their own use, and for the use of other Members. FundraisingFish.com is providing a service to its Members, not to Causes. FundraisingFish.com is responsible for sending rebates to the Cause address provided by the Fundraising Leader when the Cause is created in our system. Members are responsible for verification of the the Cause address to ensure rebates are distributed to the Cause the Member intends. The Cause address can be obtained by clicking the View Causes button on the FundraisingFish.com navigation bar and locating that Cause in our database. Any taxes owed are the responsibility of Members.

FundraisingFish.com Members understand that their selected Cause may be networked with other Members’ Causes through FundraisingFish.com. Networking between Causes will not decrease the rebate obtained for any qualified Member’s purchase. The network of Causes associated with a Member’s selected Cause is based strictly on referrals between Members who have signed up on FundraisingFish.com and entered their Cause for participation in our program. FundraisingFish.com reserves the right to approve or refuse any Membership, advertiser, advertisement, or recipient Cause for any reason.

Members understand that their Cause may be networked to other Members’ Causes for the purpose of fundraising. If any Members does not wish their Cause to be networked with another Members’ Cause, the Members who originally entered the Cause must inform FundraisingFish.com of this request. Members understand that any networked Members ’Cause may initiate that the network between the Causes be discontinued. This request must be in writing. Click here to send this request. Please title the request "Cause Network Request". This request MUST come from the Member who entered the Cause in FundraisingFish.com.

FundraisingFish.com Members understand that by agreeing to become Members of FundraisingFish.com, they direct FundraisingFish.com to deliver payment of a portion of the merchant rebate to their selected Cause and that, if applicable, an additional portion is delivered to their network of Causes.

FundraisingFish.com Members understand that to earn that rebate on purchases to be applied to their Cause, Members must start their shopping by clicking on an advertiser link and making a qualified purchase at www.FundraisingFish.com or through a FundraisingFish.com Newsletter.

Payments to a Member’s Cause will be sent monthly from FundraisingFish.com when the value of the combined rebates collected from Advertisers for that Cause exceeds $25. If the value of the rebate is less than $25, the payment will roll over monthly until the value exceeds $25. Members understand that the rebate will be allocated to the Cause listed in the Member’s profile at the time the purchase is made.

Members understand that payments made by FundraisingFish.com are made based on the Cause listed in the Member’s Profile information at the time the purchase is made. Members understand that by changing Causes in their Membership profile, they will be directing FundraisingFish.com to deliver the fundraising payment to their newly selected Cause for purchases made after the change is entered.

FundraisingFish.com will not disclose "personally identifiable" information regarding its Members to any third party without the Member’s explicit permission, or except as may be required by law.

Notice to Members may be made by posting information on the FundraisingFish.com Web site or via e-mail. Members may give notice to FundraisingFish.com by clicking here.

FundraisingFish.com reserves the right to refuse any Membership, advertiser, advertisements, or recipient Causes or Causes. FundraisingFish.com reserves the right to discontinue service at any time for any reason for any Member or Cause.

Members understand that the economic basis of FundraisingFish.com is delivering real transactions, and/or real persons viewing real ads to advertisers. Any action by the Members that undermines that basis may disqualify the Members and his or her viewing activity. All of a Member’s earnings or rebates may be disqualified, at the sole discretion of FundraisingFish.com, if the Member attempts (1) to use FundraisingFish.com through any means other than through participating sign-up pages; (2) to disrupt FundraisingFish.com or circumvent the terms and conditions of this Agreement; (3) to use automated means to create entries/registrations; (4) register on behalf of another person; or (5) provide false or unverifiable information to FundraisingFish.com. If any of the above or other attempts to defraud advertisers or FundraisingFish.com occurs or is perceived to occur, FundraisingFish.com reserves the right to remedy any such action, disruption or circumvention in a manner, determined solely by FundraisingFish.com, that is fair and equitable to other Members, advertisers, and Causes. FundraisingFish.com may not give notice in such an instance.

Members may take advantage of shopping at advertisers listed at FundraisingFish.com. Members understand that FundraisingFish.com will use its commercially reasonable efforts to collect monies from the advertisers and disperse committed money to Member’s identified Cause. Payment to the selected Cause is contingent on receipt of payment from the Advertiser. Members will not hold FundraisingFish.com responsible for an Advertiser's failure to pay or rebate disqualification due to purchase not meeting Advertiser’s qualifications for rebate.

Advertisers have the right to modify terms associated with monies they pay to FundraisingFish.com for purchases made through this site and FundraisingFish.com strives to keep our shopping pages up to date. FundraisingFish.com is not responsible for misprints, typographical errors, omissions, failed Advertiser payment or incorrect earnings reflected on our shopping pages that result in lower or higher rebates paid to Causes. Potential earnings reflected on our shopping pages are for qualified purchases and it is not intended to imply that any and all purchases from the listed advertiser will result in the specific earnings. While most Advertisers offer a flat rate for all purchases, there are those Advertisers that offer different levels of earnings based on the items purchased.

FundraisingFish.com reserves the right to modify Cause and Networked Cause earning percentages at any time. Modifications to earnings will be reflected in our shopping pages.

Tax Deductibility. FundraisingFish.com performs a service for its Members, and is not qualified to offer tax advice on the deductibility of any donation made by the Members.
